Nursing care of breast cancer patients receiving chemotherapy乳癌病人接受化學治療之照護
乳癌是台灣女性最常發生的癌症，其死亡率佔所有癌症的第四位。目前乳癌的治療方式包括手術、化學療法、放射線療法和荷爾蒙療法；其中化學治療已由過去的配角，成為目前預防乳癌復發以及控制癌症惡化的主要角色。許多的研究已證明化學治療對乳癌存活率的正面效益，但因化學治療引起的病人全身性副作用也不斷的被提出討論。對大多數的乳癌病人而言，她所需面臨的不僅是疾病本身的衝擊；她更需要克服及適應的是化學治療所造成的一連串身體、心理、家庭及社交的立即性或長期的影響。如何協助病人及家屬渡過這段漫長的路程，成為了癌症護理人員非常重要的功課。本次的報告主要在於探討化學治療對乳癌病人的影響，並藉由文獻查證資料及報告者臨床經驗之分享，讓參予者了解護理人員如何透過持續性評估，為病人擬定照護計畫，順利完成治療，以達到預防或控制癌症的目標。

The Care of Breast Cancer Patients from adjuvant to metastasis to palliation
The care of breast cancer patients involves several fields, from the time of diagnosis, to the period of active treatment, and to palliative care when patients are at their terminal stage. Guidelines are provided for diagnosis and treatment at different stages, but there is no guideline for palliation. As breast cancer is rather easy to diagnose at an early stage compared to other malignancies, considering its high response to chemotherapy and well established adjuvant treatments, the prognosis improved over the years. The ultimate goal is to diagnose the disease early, therefore, to have long-time survival. Team work from radiologists, pathologists, surgeons, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, rehabilitation specialist, physical therapists, social workers, psychiatrists, nurses, family members and patient herself, is necessary to battle this disease. To give a treatment is rather simple, but when all treatment failed, what should we do? The lesson to be learned is how to prepare our patients in their final path and to prepare their families for a good farewell.
